Mike Plichta is a seasoned professional in innovation and startup investments, boasting over a decade of experience in capital markets, business, and financial advisory,including ten years in venture capital.

His focus areas include innovative technologies and startups within the PropTech and CleanTech sectors.Mike serves as an expert for the European Union's Innovation Fund, a major initiative with over 35 billion EUR for innovative companies contributing to carbon emission reduction. At Colliers,one of the top global real estate professional services companies, Mike led the PropTech Advisory division, aiding clients in the implementation of innovative solutions for buildings and offices.

Previously, as Investment Manager at innogyInnovation Hub, a corporate VC fund established by one of Europe's largest energy companies, Mike focused on investing in and supporting startups tackling real estate sector challenges. His work facilitated significant partnerships between tech companies and real estate clients, notably a strategic collaboration between innogy and Skanska to drive real estate innovation.In his innovation investment role, Mike was responsible for identifying leading technology solutions, managing investment processes, and supporting portfolio and partner companies.

His expertise spans financial and business analysis, business model evaluation, market research,company valuation, and due diligence.Mike is actively involved in the tech scene and startup ecosystem, mentoring in various local and global acceleration programs,and serving as a jury member in numerous startup contests.
